While we're enjoying cliche green beer and sweet shamrock shaped treats today, we thought the dogs deserved some special goodies as well. These lean green Lucky Dog Treats are not only low in calories for guilt free snacking, but also incredibly simple to make so your dogs will be enjoying a festive bite in no time.

Ingredients: (Makes about 8 large shamrock "cookies", or 24 small rolled balls)

• 1 c. flour
• 1 jar organic green beans baby food
• 1 jar organic peas baby food

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together to form dough.

Roll out dough and cut out shapes. We used a large shamrock shaped cookie cutter, just to be festive. But you can also roll them into small bite size balls if you don't have cookie cutters.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Cool completely on a wire rack.
