Dakoda was the original Rebel, our baby girl, and the sweetest most stoic Doberman Pinscher. While she's been gone for 6 years, we think of her often and commemorate her birthday annually with a special collar release. She inspired many collar designs over her 9 years as CEO of Crazy Rebels, but most notable was her namesake Dakoda collar. Designed specifically for her magnificence. In honor of Dakoda's heavenly birthday, the limited release Artist's Edition Kaleidoscope Dakoda Double Collar combines an all time favorite CR design, with a hand-painted canvas and carefully set crystals in a kaleidoscope of colors. A collar that truly turns heads. Each collar is numbered and signed. This collar is limited to only 10.
This collar is offered in two versions: as a double layer for larger sizes and as a classic single layer for small sizes. Sizes 10"- 12" through 13" - 15" measure 1-1/2" with a taper at the buckle. Crafted from gorgeous black bridle leather, with hand painted splatter, your choice of hardware, and eye catching crystals in a beautiful medley of colors. (These sizes will not have the double layer border of crystals on each size).
Sizes 14" - 16" and up measure 2" wide and taper to an 1-1/2" buckle. The top layer measures 1-1/2" wide and features our black bridle leather with a 2" black bridle leather base, complete with your choice of hardware, and an eye catching medley of crystals.
Some notes on colored leather, specialty and painted leather: We offer tons of specialty options including color shift, distress leather, suede, mermaid scales, and more. These materials are more delicate that our standard leather and are more for decorative use than hardy, everyday collars. For this reason we do not recommend getting these specialty leathers wet, muddy, or other super dirty activities as they are harder to clean and may not hold up through numerous cleanings.
*Care and wear of black hardware collars: Our black hardware is military grade coated to achieve its gorgeous black color. Over time this coating may rub off or scratch if the hardware consistently comes into contact with abrasive surfaces such as cement, a dogs nails or teeth, bushes, etc. or is worn excessively and/or perpetually. We recommend supervised use at all times.
Not sure on the size? Each collar is made with love especially for your dog. Our collars have 5 holes, 1/2" apart. For a perfect fit we suggest ordering your dog's neck size on the center hole, so if your dog has an 16" neck you would order an 15" - 17". If you have a puppy or a dog that is still growing we recommend ordering their neck measurement on the first hole, so if your puppy measures 16" you would order the 16" - 18".
