We created the Stealth collar to keep dogs safe. The Kyon Stealth collar is a waterproof collar with nameplates rivets right to the collar. An easily ID’d dog is the safest way to ensure, should your dog get loose or lost, they will be returned as quickly as possible. 

The Kyon Stealth collar features our waterproof Kyon base for durable, all purpose fit and function. Offered in 17 colors, three widths and two hardware finishes, you can choose the best aesthetic for your dog. Choose from an array of bright or neutral colors, stainless steel or solid brass hardware, and 1-1/2”, 1”, or 3/4” widths.

Our ID tags are deeply stamped by hand with your dogs name and phone number, each letter and each number lovingly set to last a lifetime. This ensures your dogs important info will never fade or rub away.

Emergency tip: We recommend keeping a set of Kyon Stealth collars and Kyon leashes in an easily accessible emergency go-bag for your dog or pack. If you’re like us you may have collars, leashes, and supplies in various areas of your home, but in an emergency situation you won’t have time to think of where everything is, you’ll just want to collar up your pups in ID’d collars and go. This is why we keep a set of Stealths for our pack in a backpack ready to go. We don’t use these collars for every day use, we don’t grab them for the beach, we always keep them in the same location, ready to go in an emergency.

Black Friday

Black Friday is always our most expansive sale of the year, and our biggest sale of the holiday weekend, meaning everything online is on sale (absolutely everything) and at the highest discount of the weekend.  The site will go live at midnight on Black Friday, 11/29/19, no code will be needed, everything will be on sale. Our Black Friday Ready Made Sale will launch at 8 am PST. This Ready Made collection will include a wide array of sizes, styles, leather and waterproof Kyon. Yes, there will be Christmas themed collars. Yes, there will be so many styles to choose from. Like all of our Ready Made Sales, there will only be one of each collar in the collection available and it will be first come, first serve. Ready Made Sales throughout this season will be the only option to score leather collars, which is awesome for two reasons. 1.) Ready Made collars are sold at discounted prices and 2.) they are ready to ship, so every Ready Made collar will arrive in time for Christmas. Woo hoo!

What’s up with the Waitlist?

Update on our waitlist: What is a waitlist? How does it work? Our waitlist is technically getting in a virtual line to order leather collars. Because we are a teeny, tiny company hand making every. single. collar. our production does take some time. For this reason at this time we do not offer leather collars for order on our website, but instead by waitlist. Simply email us at woof@crazyrebels.com to get in line. Once it’s your turn, we'll email you and get you all set up with your custom order. 

How long does the waitlist take? This can be very difficult to accurately guesstimate as we do no limit how many collars you can order once your turn comes up. So you can order one, or twenty. The more collars each person orders, the slower the virtual line moves. We really cannot anticipate what each customer will do once their turn comes up. Our best guess at the moment is a year long waitlist. You are welcome to inquire about your placement at any time.

We will most likely close down custom Kyon collar orders for the month of December after Cyber Monday. For the month of December we will be hibernating, making a zillion collars. We love giving back! And since it's the month of giving, we're feeling extra generous which is why we have teamed up with the Doberman Rescue of Minnesota to raise funds in the name of Dobies. 

About The Rescue: The Doberman Rescue of Minnesota (DRM) is a non-profit, entirely volunteer run organization founded in 2000 and they have been saving lives ever since. All of the Dobermans in their program live in loving homes with foster families until they are able to go to they forever family.

The Main Event: This Saturday, November 10, 2018 DRM is hosting their biggest fundraiser of the year, A Night To Paws Gala. If you are lucky enough to live near Minneapolis we highly suggest heading out to support an awesome causer and enjoy a night of food, fun, entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, a comedy show, photo booth and our favorite part, the silent auction. Ticket sales benefit the rescue as well as the silent auction. This month we are bringing awareness to not only pet cancer but Lyme disease as well. If you have not been affected, either personally or by association, by Lyme disease you might not even know what it is. But for those who have seen its affects, know the life changing havoc Lyme leaves in its wake.

We’ll be sharing info, facts, our personal story, others experiences, and support all month long to help advocate for Lyme awareness. We've also crafted a very special Lyme collar, matching bracelet, and 4 new Ruff Tags charms all about Lyme!! 

Lyme disease is essentially an infection caused by something called a spirochete (a big fancy word for a flexible spirally twisted bacterium) that humans and dogs can contract from the bite of an infected deer tick. This terrible disease can affect and attack any organ in the body including the brain, nervous system, muscles and joints, and even the heart. Lyme is initially confusing and scary for several reasons:

-It is not readily diagnosed.
-The symptoms are similar to those of many other diseases.
-The Infectious Diseases Society of America states that there is no such thing as “chronic Lyme disease”, but anyone with this mysterious and debilitating disease will tell you other wise.

What are the symptoms of Lyme? Lyme disease has been called “The Great Imitator” because the symptoms are easily mistake for those of ALS, MS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Autism to name a few.

Symptoms include: Fatigue, weakness, headache, pack pain, joint and muscle pain, stiff/ sore neck, nausea, diarrhea, sore throat, swollen glands, rash, dizziness, confusion, buzzing sensation in nerves, paralysis, trouble with speaking, thinking, talking, walking, and concentration, trouble breathing, mood swings, and crying spells. Lyme is no joke!

How do you get Lyme disease? People and dogs get Lyme disease from the bite of an infected tick. The longer a tick is attached to the body the longer they feed, which increases the risk of them passing the Lyme bacteria into your bloodstream.

What else carries Lyme disease? Ticks, mosquitoes, flies, fleas, and wild animals such as rodents, rabbits, birds, and deer can all carry the spirochete bacteria of Lyme.

Where do ticks live? Ticks live in warm, damp places usually near water grass or brush. This is why it is so important to protect yourself and your pets when hiking, playing, and exploring.

So what do you do? It’s very important to use tick repellent on yourself and your dogs when hiking in tick heavy places. Check yourself and your pets carefully after being out in tick territory. Be sure to check in the nooks and crannys, along the waistband of your pants, and all over on pets paying special attention to their ears, arm pits, and paw pads.

Now help pass it on and fight the bite! Lyme bites, but it doesn’t have to stop there. Education is key.
