*Care and wear of black hardware collars: Our black hardware is military grade powder coated to achieve a gorgeous black color. Over time the black may rub off or scratch if the hardware consistently comes into contact with abrasive surfaces such as cement, a dogs nails or teeth, bushes, etc. or is worn excessively and/or perpetually.
Some notes on colored leather, specialty leather and painted leather: We offer tons of specialty leather options including this textured tweed, distress leather, suede, mermaid scales, textured sparkle and more. These materials are more delicate that our standard leather and are more for decorative use than hardy, everyday collars. For this reason we do not recommend getting these specialty leathers wet, muddy, or other super dirty or rough activities as they are harder to clean and may not hold up through numerous cleanings and agitation or play.
For your dogs safety and to prevent damage to the collar, we always recommend supervision when wearing collars.
